    OK my 2Cents: Abortion should only be done in cases of Rape or if the fetus is deformed that life is impossible I.E missing it's head or other vital organ. or the mother is at serious risk of death. Not if the fetus is not the preferred sex or inconvenience of the mother or father. That is what adoption is for, I know I was adopted and there are plenty of good parents that can not conceive. +12 reply

      My two cents, I agree with the deformity issue but only if it can be proven there will be no quality of life. That's zero quality of life. Not just oh, hard to take care of. The case of rape. I can tell you, there are thousands of people (me included) who would LOVE to have a child who cannot for various reasons, that would be more than happy to raise a child even if conceived through rape. Abortion is a personal decision, I for one have never known a good reason for it. 99.9 % of abortions are sought out by females who were not proactive in their OWN lives. THINK LADIES, THINK! DO NOT expect it's a mans job to use protection, If you can't handle that small detail you sure as hell don't need a child. Make sure you do your part, always. Guys, same advice.     Sorry, but Right to Lifers love to use these videos to express their opinion through shock and disgust. Fact of the matter, no surgry is pretty and there are many, many reasons to keep the government out of this decision. Is this nasty and disturbing to watch? Yes. But so is real child birth. I'll never condone the government legislating someone's body. Of course, wear a condom, but don't give the government the keys to all your freedoms... they already have enough of them. +25 reply

      THANK YOU! i was about to write that but figured i should read through the comments first. fetus doesn't "live" in the placenta, placenta is attached to the fetus by the umbilical cord - hence what the fetus was in is the uterus. you can also see where the uterus was removed at the fallopian tubes. not to mention that had it been an abortion the fetus would have been removed internally, not externally (from the uterus). i am not a medic so i could be wrong, but i think that the color of the fetus suggest that is was dead already. +6 reply

    i live in a country where abortion is illegal Ireland .to me in my eyes abortion is viable if #1 there is a good chance that the child will be deformed or handicapped in some way and cant live a full natural life or #2 is conceived through ra_pe and the mother is deeply traumatised and cant bring her self to go full term and love and nurture the baby. all life is sacred and a gift. whether it's a crack baby or a silver spoon kid all life deserves a full natural life of love and hope. it's a well discussed subject to which there are no answers these are my two cents. +7 reply

    If am correct it should be an ectopic pregnancy, which means they HAD to perform the procedure. "An ectopic pregnancy is a complication of pregnancy in which the fertilized ovum is implanted in any tissue other than the uterine wall. Most ectopic pregnancies occur in the Fallopian tube (so-called tubal pregnancies), but implantation can also occur in the cervix, ovaries, and abdomen" +12 reply

    i'm a mommy too and my son wasn't planned .. i was on birth control and i got pregnant ... not even for 1 second did i think to have an abortion. i think being able to give life is the most precious thing in the world. my son is my whole life and i think that people who use abortion as a form of birth contol should burn in hell. i know of people who have had like 5 abortions it's digusting ... use a fucking condom .. i also think these kind of people should not be able to have children when they decide they actually want one. there are millions of women who can't have children who would have given everything for that child ... it's disgusting. this video broke my heart ... thats all i have to say. +8 reply

    This video actually brought tears to my eyes as it reminded me of my abortion. Before you go off on me and call every name in the book, here out my reason. My boyfriend and I used protection. I was on the pill and he had used a condom. The condom had a hole I guess...and the pill is only 99%. When I found out I was pregnant, I was elated for 5 seconds before my doctor me this: It was either going to be my baby's life or mine. If I were to have the child, I would have died. He said my body wouldn't have been able to handle it. So after a week of talking to my boyfriend (now soon to be husband) we both decided to choose the abortion. To this day I still regret killing an innocent life and I will forever hate myself for doing it. +8 reply

      A similar incident happened to my aunt, she didn't find out until later in the pregnancy when she was having complications. Sad, yes, but necessary, to make that big of a sacrifice. And now after the fact she has had 5 children, all healthy and 3 have children of their own. +3 reply

        i actually know a religious couple, where the wife/mother chose her child's life over herself without telling her husband...the husband found out about 15 minutes before the operation, but the wife wouldn't give in, so during the birth of the child she died...i don't know wat i'd have done if i were the husband reply

      There was nothing you could have done, and furthermore, in cases like this, there's a high chance that the baby won't survive either. It's still a tragedy, but no reason to hate yourself. reply

    that was not an abortion-- the babe was probably still born, looked about 4months, and the fluid was septic (should have been clear-ish) they also cut her uterus away, which makes me beleive it was really serious. i doubt it was a lack of condom case. +3 reply

      yeah that was definitely not a regular abortion, because they dont cut your uterus out to do it, they just use a speculum and go inside there with a tube shaped thing that vacuums everything out. Pretty much a D E, which I had to have when i lost my baby last year. reply

    Hmmm, well, I read this whole thing, and I have to say, that no one has brought up the big picture. Sex, people have it all the time with out considering the consequences. Sex leads to child birth. Unplanned child birth leads to abortions, the government that you want to outlaw abortion, has also outlawed anything other than abstinence only teaching in public school. Maybe if we taught teens, that we know will have sex, the proper way to used a condom or about the pill, this would not even be an issue. I do agree that abortion is a messy business, and it is sad. But what other option do we leave. We dont teach the proper way to avoid it, why argue, when we know the cause. How many aborted fetuses would end up in the tip of a condom instead of in the cold clutches of a steel bowl. Teach them, and they will learn +1 reply

    Stealin5th Base is right. This is not an abortion. The child was dead at the beginning, and the uterus had been brought forward, out of the woman. I do not know the reason for any of this, or why the uterus was removed after the baby was taken out. in my opiunion, making cuts like that, without any concern for blood loss, tells me that the wman and the child were already dead. The baby was not a normal color. reply

    That was not an abortion. They removed the mother's uterus at the end and the fluid that gushed out at the beginning was brown and vile looking. Normal amniotic fluid is not like that. My guess is that there was some form of infection and the baby had to be removed and the mother needed a hysterectomy. reply

    The kid was dead already. Pay attention to the lack of color of the fetus and the lack of the blood in the fingers. At that stage, the fetus should be pink, and visible bones starting to form. The thing is already dead. Obviously they removal of the uterus at the end should have been a flag to the ne-sayers on abortion. Get the facts before you open your mouth. reply
