Fifteen people died in a serious accident in the late afternoon of Saturday (17), between a bus and a truck, the BR-040, and between Felixlândia Curvelo. According to theMilitary Police, the bus headed for Ipatinga while trying to make a breach.
The driver of one of the scouts who accompanied the truck told police that when he realized the maneuver warned the bus driver flashing headlights, but he would not have to stop. The vehicle has reached the load, a metal tube.
Part of the bus was torn off on impact. At least 15 people died, according to the Federal Highway Police. Helicopters from the Fire Department, Police and Civil Miltar helped in the rescue of victims.
One person was taken in serious condition to hospital John XXIII in Belo Horizonte. The bus was returning to Ipatinga, in eastern Minas, with workers in a maintenance company.The other injured were taken to hospitals Curvelo. Traffic was slow on the site.
