ouch i transported someone in about the same shape as you, but the guy was so out of it before i could get to him had tried to get up and walk on a compound fracture , that was one of my first calls. traction is usally applied when they fear blood flow obstruction, that type of injury occurs by the femur and is called Hare traction. reply

Glad you made it, man. I watched a buddy of mine hit the ditch in front of me one day. He tucked and rode the bike through three flips until it finally tossed him off. I thought he was dead for sure. I ran back (you know, to check his pockets for cash) and found him laying, ghost white, in a field. His eyes were open and fixed. All of sudden color flushed back into his face and he came too. So... I put the shit back in his pockets real quick... if he could survive that he sure as shit could beat my ass for stealing his cash. +4 reply
