- The kid got what he got. 1) It's an advance class and he should know better. 2) More then likely the teacher told them to turn the phones off. 3) The kid answered it and was talking. Truthfully, no one is "cool" enough to have to have your phone on during class. 1st. Thats against the law in America. The teacher has no right to trash private property. 2nd. I would have decked the A-hole. 3rd. I have a professor that has a phone policy, it's simple he has the students AGREE to it first. If it's violated he charges the student a small fine, nothing crazy $1.00 each time they use the phone, if they use it more than three times, he gives us a absent to that days class.
