On a serious note, back then, dildos and strapons were made from either stone, bone, or wood that was very finely sanded and laquered to make them waterproof and smooth. The straps would have been made from animal leather (either cow or deer or similar material). There is a museum in NYC that has on display various "sexual implements"... and some of them are hundreds of years old!
