This works on the simple philosophy, avoid any areas close to MLK st.

Years ago when they were changing the name of Ninth street in Chattanooga to MLK Blvd there was a lot of local opposition. The Blacks all protested that since their "Leader" had been assassinated that they deserved to have a street named after him. One person wrote in that we should honor all our assassinated leaders to make it fair. Name it after Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy and John F. Kennedy and simply call it KKK Blvd!

Where the hell are these high crime white neighborhoods? Cause I never heard of one...and I am probably more familiar with high crime areas then most, as I live ten minutes from Saginaw, Michigan, thirty minutes from Flint and and an hour and a half from Detroit where I've spent a good deal of time working construction. What I've learned is that any place that is heavily populated with blacks is a dangerous place and that's not the white mans fault, my niggaz. Some of you need to stop listening to Oprah and that ignorant, collection plate holding Rev. Al sharpton, all that D-bag has done is rally ignorance, and increase racial tension. Many blacks need to accept the fact trayvon is dead because he was a N.W.A. with no respect for others, the only guilty party are his parents for not raising there child in a proper manor!

Is the world really that pathetic now that even statistics are taboo if they make any area or people look bad? Fucking pathetic. grow a set world. the only way to turn back this pathetic train of human filth back to the station, is to say "Whoa, that shits wrong, and we wont tolerate it."

I believe the black lady in the news cast is the bigot. She associated the bad crime area with a " soul food restaurant" and an "Italian" restaurant. Either that or she lives there and knows from first hand experience.

Really though they are upset because this app will keep people with money out of their areas and leave them fewer people to mug and carjack.

Every city has bad crime areas,what's wrong with knowing where they are especially if you're in an unfamiliar town? What's wrong with trying to help people from becoming the next news headline?

They wanted to put signs up on the MLK Jr in my town that seemed a certain area a "gun zone". the sole reason was that these couple of blocks have a really high fun crime rate. It was argued out of the works because it was "racist and damaging to property values"
