Or, in somecases, it's from an allergic reaction to the metal in the jewelry.... but it still falls back on not taking care of it properly... if you notice an allergic reaction, have it taken out IMMEDIATELY and it will heal as long as you put antibiotic ointment on it and clean it three or four times a day. +2 reply
