Those British Marines have odd uniforms and fighting techniques.

It's a technique borrowed from the French "Military". The idea is to allow your opponent to hit you repeatedly. They will inevitable injure their hands and feet, and exhaust themselves. These two missed a crucial step though; the French system involves running away once your opponent's toes are broken.

Or the American method of killing every man women and child with a napalm attack, B-52 Bomber or just a plain ol' physcotic marine with a rifle and then collecting their fingers and ears for trophys.

Is that why you guys had to call it quits in Vietnam...?
            • psychmike | 10 months ago | +2 -1
Pretty much. We left in accordance with the Paris peace accords, drafted by....you guessed it, the French. Nice of you guys to send in some troops after all the fighting stopped though. Very helpful, thanks.

[video]Canada never sent any troops to Vietnam... Are you related to Coulter???

No, but I can and do read. Canada sent troops AFTER the conflict was over and the Paris Peace Accords were signed. They were part of the ICC (international control commission), not part of any military operations during the conflict. Like I said, thanks for the "help".

A Canadian telling me about war? That's like a paraplegic teaching me how to Dougie.

come on guys, maybe they were drunk as shit so they werent able to defense themself, they could be even best martial arts warriors but when u drink too much u become a punch bag.

They say it was the Royal Logistic Corps. (RLC) guys who did this. Although not elite like the Marines, they have some strong, tough people due to the kind of work they do. This could have happened to anyone, Marine or not, if your tipsy and someone catches you right you can go down. Shame one lost sight in his eye.

Aren't Marines supposed to be tough and invincible? I wonder if they didn't defense themselves because they knew they were being filmed.

Yeah these guys are nothing like my idea of marines. I couldn't imagine a US marine tucking up like a bitch

idk if this is the case but i know for sure that when a soldier gets in any form of violence against civilian, they will be sent to the military prison. Because even though soldiers are human too but soidlers&civilian issue is a very sensitive relation. Idk about the US military, but my friends in South Korean Marines say they sometimes get taunted by dumbass high school kids and can't even lay a finger on them because that will get them in some serious trouble with the military. Soldiers are there to protect the civilians.. so If they fight he civilian,, they are going against the very reason of their existence. Remember few years ago an american soldier who returned from the war witnessed a man beating his wife, he went and beat up the husband to save the wife, but he ended up in military prison.

Unless the soldiers are instigator and deserve the beating, it is just fucked up to even try to fight a soldier even if you can fight and win against them. Those soldiers put their life in line to protect the country and its people, which includes you. It is called being grateful and showing some respect. But regardless of all that, kicking on a person that is already down is just unacceptable in any cases.

IDK if this is true or not but the back story i got out in 2min of googleing shows me that those 2 beating are normal soldiers and 2 getting beat are Royal British Marines. Story is unknown but it was outside of a night club and 2 soldiers were going "idgaf" and 2 Marines were afraid of unhonourable discharge from the military.
    • JustDoIt | 10 months ago | +1
Discharge? Well all i know is, inside or outside of the ring, You must protect yourself at all time.
      • deleted | 10 months ago | +1
Ring? These guys arent boxers... military personals have very strict law about engaging civilians. Idk wat all the neg are about. Very idea of being a soldier is to proetect the country and its civilians. Thata why it is always controversial even if by normal morals soldiers action is justfiable. Anyways, in thise case, 2guys beating are also soldiers
