• proflight posted 11 months ago rate it: good poor this is an old picture, the soldier on the right was insidethe APC, he was coming off the top when a petrol bomb was thrown at him, all the troops got out with just a few cuts and bruises and the british government was then forced to have decent armour sent to them due to complaints from the troops. Needless to say, someone has to do the worlds shit work, along with the americans and the canadians, no other toss pot country is doing anything against the taliban in afghanistan, the bloody germans even refuse to leave the major camp in case one of them gets hurt, all I can say is its lucky the arseholes of the world still have troops to cover their arseholes even if they are british and americans doing all the hard work. +10 reply

Well, thats not quite fair there are some eastern european countries that are pulling their weight, but western Europe (France, Germany, etc.) need to step the fuck up to the plate, or resign from NATO, one or the other. +4 reply

• event-horizon23 posted 9 months ago rate it: good poor the storey behind this is a British helicopter was shot down and crashed on top of some buildings, 2 British APC's and some men were closest to the crash and went to help, while they were trying to rescue the soldiers from the burning wreck a crowd gathered and attacked them with stones and pertol bombs, when one of the APC's caught fire the crew jumped out and were also set on fie and beaten by the crowd, i dont know if they were killed, since im in the British army this stuff really gets to me +1 reply
