In this day and age, that competition is so fierce that they could drop one company and another 500 would line up for the position. If you do, then you do not know much about big business. If an entire store burned down, then yes, premiums would be affected, but this event is less than pennies (that is less than 0.00000000367647058823529% of their sales turnover). I agree that large losses or multiple small losses (through there loss prevention program affects pricing, but this event in a vacuum will not affect anything. I am not envious of anything, and ignorant is not something I can be accused of with regards to business, especially big business. It is what I do.

That is one of the main principals of its operation.
They scan in all new items as they are brought into the store, and they are scanned out as you buy them. So walmart always knows exactly how much they have of every item. It is one of the things that has let them be so successful.
So yes, they did have an inventory just before these shitheads came in.
