Scarification as a form of body modification or beauty "enhancement" is a custom that should have died out generations ago, or been confined to those primitive tribal cultures that have practiced it since time immemorial. - every tattoo i have has a meaning for me and me alone. i dont have any tatts on my lower arms or neck or face, besides being a forklift driver for a living, i am also a part time bartender and when you have a neck tattoo that kind of makes your tips shrivel up.......they are also pretty stupid. replyfootlicker76 posted 1 year ago

I think it stems from taking something that is traditionally ugly and gross, like scars, and turning them into something beautiful. Most of that work is beautiful, but I too, do not have the balls for this one. reply
scarification is ok in moderation, and not in a visible place. and if you have the balls to do it, then go ahead. but remember, they going to stretch and wrinkle just like a tattoo after 50 years! reply
