What's your take on circumcision and how do you like your penis with/without the foreskin ?

Many adult males will come to a point where they NEED to have the skin removed to prevent horrid infections, many men are pretty dirty, imagine in the field while serving in the military, tough to keep really clean. You can have a fungus (even if cleaned properly) that can attach the hood to the head of the penis, causing it to be removed, and the head of the penis then loses it's skin, bye bye head feeling. It has also been proven to cause men to contract less STDs like AIDS, not 100%, but a decent amount. Saying the head is there to soak up vaginal fluids, retarded, besides, I eat my woman out to orgasm 2-3 times each time, I get my vaginal fluids. Saying men have natural lubrication? Also bullshit as the head actually becomes more sticky with a hood while a circumcised one is soft to the touch. Sexually the woman will feel the lip pull out more, with a hood it's covered during most of the retract, my wife attests to this greatly.

Also, men have dirtier jobs, but I'd venture to say most men are not necessarily any more or less hygienic than women. "It has also been proven..." that men who lay a multitude of women, some nastier than others, contract more STDs and AIDS. Also,take into account that women outnumber men, which means men will likely have more partners than women. Women are carriers of AIDS and STDs, so it's really perception, NOT FACT... anymore. It's funny because it's mostly based on religion (that most of us do not recognize as our own), not science. We're not in the Dark Ages.

Facts:
Circumcision is NOT recommended by ANY reputable medical organizations.
Circumcision in infants and small children is totally unnecessary because the foreskin is fused to the glans (head). Once retractable, it's easily accessible and easily cleaned.
Foreskin PROTECTS the head of the penis AND increases sexual pleasure (highly innervated and increases friction).
At the end of the day sexual practices and PERSONAL hygiene are the major factors in contracting and spreading diseases.
There have been studies that show circusion has a null OR even opposite effect on STD transmission and contraction.

oh, and the reason that Aides is on the increase in America is because circumcision is only a part of the holistic approach to prevention, the other factors are education and contraception. Humans are born with many things that we no longer need - the appendix, our wisdom teeth ( although those erupt later and we aren't born with them ) , hair ( both body and head ) and our little toe - just to name a few. Just because we are born with something that does not mean it serves a purpose.
The prepuce servers no valid physical or medical purpose in our contemporary society. However, circumcising also is not required for existing in the time period we do now, although it does have an advantage of requiring less hygenic maintenance that advantage is rendered moot with today's level of hygiene.

Female circumcision is an umbrella term used to describe multiple procedures, not just the removal of the clitoris, where a few are strictly speaking less severe than the male kind. Also, contrary to popular belief, many circumcised girls are still capable of having and enjoying sex. When you say female circumcision is used to control female sexuality, I would suggest you look up the history of circumcision in America. It was done to boys to control their sexuality, too. When that didn't work, you started seeing "medical benefits" start to pop up to try and keep it going. The two are more comparable than you think, and have every right to be compared whether you like it or not. It's rather disturbing to see people look and see what gender someone is before deciding whether cutting their genitals is right or wrong.

Whilst your condition was probably deeply unpleasent, it was most likely caused by something you did acccidently, or in older boys by masturbation against surfaces. There is no proven link between its prevention by circumcision. This in a female case is out of the question as it would require the removal of the entire area. Steroid creams are now almost 100% succesful. The death rate of boys from circumcision related death in the U.S. is 9.01 per 100,000. Or about 1.3% of the total number of deaths in baby boys. You can guess that in other societys with inferior medical care it would be significantly higher. Without meaning to suggest your experience is not bad, but it was not life threatening and has to be weighed against the hundred of boys around the world who die each year for nothing.

The problem was medically resolved by circumcision. However, I think if there is no genuine medical reason for it, then the child, which, let's face it, is in the vast majority of cases completely unaware of what is happening, then they should be allowed to develop to a stage of consciousness where they can make that decision. But considering the logic behind this (being my argument against circumcision), I don't think anyone would be circumcised, if it worn't for the dogma of religion. And as someone pointed out, on average most of us, i.e. westerners, have the ability to shower everyday, so foreskin or not, the bell-end stays clean. Those who don't have that showering everyday, or even every other day, do those in favour of circumcision support obligatory cutting of the homeless?
