    The kid should be grateful that he even got a truck, no matter what it looks like. When I turned 16 I didn't get a car for my birthday, I had to get a JOB and buy my own car. When my kids turned 16, I didn't buy them a car either. Kids these days expect too much from their parents. If the kids these days want nice things, tell them to go out and get a JOB and earn the money to BUY their OWN car. They would respect it a lot more if they had to spend their OWN money instead of depending on mom & dad to get them everything they want. +4 reply
