When I was 14, I could answer any question to do with the Periodic Table of elements. Atomic number of gold: 79; atomic weight: 196.96; highly malleable, a transition metal. Lead has one atom more, with 80 atoms. Abbreviation 'Au' from the Latin "Aurum" for gold. +4
