Reputation points

Q: What are reputation points ?
A: User Reputation in its simplest form is a ranking of our user's benefit to our website. Its basis comes from the opinions of all of our website users that choose take part in it.

Q: How do I acquire experience points?
A: You gain/lose reputation points whenever one of your media comments is rated good/poor by other participants. You can also earn reputation points when your forum posts get rated +1 or -1 by other users.

There's no other way to earn or lose reputation points.

Reputation rank

Q: Who am I being ranked against?
A: Your rank is determined by comparing your reputation points to the reputation of every other user on Heaven666. Currently, your experience is ranked against just over 70,000 users.

Experience points

Q: What are experience points?
A: Much like a traditional role playing game, registered users may acquire experience points and gain levels resulting in higher status.

The best reason to gain experience points is added weight to your votes. Users with an abundance of points will have the strength of multiple voters, meaning they can hurt the movies they hate and help the movies they love. We make the assumption that anyone who visits the site daily will have a better idea of what good content is, so frequent visitors have more influence over the rankings. Remember, you must be logged in for your voting power to be augmented!

Q: How do I acquire experience points?
A: Every day (by Eastern Standard Time), you may vote on at least five Media submissions to deposit ten experience points. Voting on more than five in a single day does not give you additional experience points.

Aside from the method mentioned above there are no tricks or secret ways of boosting your experience. Anybody who tells you otherwise is either making jokes at your expense or trying to get you to serve them somehow.

Experience rank

Q: Who am I being ranked against?
A: Your rank is determined by comparing your experience points to the experience of every other user on Heaven666. Currently, your experience is ranked against just over 70,000 users.

Voting Power

Q: How is Voting Power determined?
A: Voting Power is based on a user's Experience points and Blam / Protection points

Blams / Saves

Q: How does one receive 'Blam' or 'Protection' points?
A: Blam and Protection points are earned by voting on an image, video or gallery that is "under judgment" (submissions marked as such in the Recently Subimtted section of the Media submenu). If a user votes 1-2 stars on a media item and it is subsequently deleted, the user receives one Blam point. Conversely, when a user votes 3-5 stats on a movie that successfully passes the judgment phase then that user receives a protection point.

Q: What are these extra points good for?
A: Blam and Protection points increase a user's voting power (which otherwise would be strictly based upon experience). The increase is a percentage bonus based on the user's level

Decorations

Q: What are the Featured Design Decorations?
A:
Featured design decorations are an appreciation awarded to pages/channels with a theme, color coordination, and remain functional to members visiting the page. You can find all the recent Featured Channel Designs here

Q: What are the Help Squad Decorations?
A:
As the name says, the Help Squad is a group of people ready to help you with any questions about the site(s) so you can enjoy it/them to the fullest capacity.
