Well timed video. Today I hit the master breaker and removed a wall light from the 1920's. I carefully taped and wire nuts put on the ends and gentlely pushed the wires into the wall and had my helper turn the power back on. No snap, crackle pop so I put on hot mud. Two hours later, the outlet don't work. DYI at it's finest! House insurance is paid for the year. Guess I'll just cut out the outlet and run new wire? I hate knob and tube.
