    ya know at first I wanted to laugh cause the chic cleaning his face appears to be smiling/laughing almost, but then again. I'm very against the parents of this guys to take such actions again Nick Holgan because was it NOT this guys own choice to ride in the car with Nick? right, so how can you blame something like this on someone elses child when your child CHOOSES to do these types of things..       That may be so however Nick was driving drunk and any accident that a drunk driver is in, let alone be the cause of, is the drunk driver's fault as the driver has the primary responsibility to be sober while driving.. reply

      This guy's parents didn't, it was the STATE of California vs Nick Hogan. Drunk driving is drunk driving. I don't give a shit if the guy chose to get in the car or not, Nick Hogan could have killed a totally innocent passerby. What would you say then, they CHOSE to cross the street at that particular moment? Sure, the guy made a stupid decision, all of us do, but most of us don't end up with a hole the size of a dinner platter in our heads. Nick deserved every bit of the sentence he got, and just like Paris, he's a spoiled little rich brat that will learn absolutely nothing from the experience. Anyone else in this situation would have had the book thrown at them, it doesn't matter that the person chose to get in the vehicle...what matters is that the driver drove drunk and nearly killed someone. Furthermore, do you even know that this guy knew that Nick Hogan was under the influence? +3 reply

    Did anyone see the interview with Terry (Hulk) Hogan Larry King when his defense was Nick is a "Professional Precision Driver"... doesn't seem to be too professional to me, and its a horrible defense in this situation the kid screwed up, sad deal but shouldn't get a reduced sentance or be shown any mercy anyone else wouldn't be shown. +1 reply

    Unfortunate as this is, it's a classic example of the "Fool Killer" in action. Getting in a car your drunk-driving friend is foolish enough in and of itself to get you seriously fucked up, not to mention failing to wear your seat belt.... This guy was asking for trouble, and he damn sure got it. The terrible shame is, so did his entire family, who undoubtedly care about him. Fate would have been more merciful if he had been killed outright. +7 reply

      AMEN!! Its a sad thing, but come on...one of the things my daddy taught me when I started dating was to NEVER EVER get into a car with someone who was drunk, even if it meant I had to call him at 3 a.m. to come get me. Some lessons I will always remember...especially after seeing this! reply

    he was a 22 year old man a marine a member of nicks pit crew chose to ride with nick chose not to wear a seat belt and hanging around with a 17 year old kid his condition is tragic both for him and his family but had hogan( a juvinile)not been famous i wonder what kind of time he would have got +3 reply

    This happened about 10 miles from where I live. Nick is a spoiled brat and should consider himself lucky to get off with only 8 months in a cushy jail, some community service a few years probation and loss of license for 3 years.     its sad that the medical community doesent know when to let someone go.. Its great to save lives's, but don't save them so people can ultimately suffer. I know i cant speak for everyone, but i sure as hell would not want to live life like this, and i would not want to have to figure out a way to kill myself when i should of died naturally already.
