There are two major concerns in every motorcycle accident: 1. SAFETY (Traffic, Hazardous Spills [gas, oil, etc], Fire). Create a Safety Circle around the victim and do not allow anyone to move them. Remember to turn off the fuel on older bikes. Try to determine how many people were on the motorcycle before the crash. There may be another person who needs your help. 2. MEDICAL - always assume there is an injury to the head/neck/back. Don%u2019t move the victim - if the head is tilted, do not try to straighten it. When starting your assessment use the tool U-ABCC: Unconscious - Introduce yourself. Hearing is the last sense to go. Let them know who you are and that you%u2019re there to help them. Airway - Check to make sure their airway is unobstructed. Breathing - Is the person breathing? Circulation %u2013 Is there a pulse? Cervical Spine Immobilization - stabilize the cervical spine in the same position you found it in. Do not let the victim accidentally move their head/neck/back. If conscious, keep the victim talking by asking four crucial questions and writing down/tracking the responses: 1.Who are you? What is your name? 2. Where are you? 3. What day and time is it? 4. What happened?

  Well Im obligated to stop at accident scenes and render aid if possible. But from now on Im going to wonder if the person Im treating was one of the retarded mutherfuckers that negged me and if I were to find out it was a user of this site lying before me I would kick them in the face and leave them lying there for not defending my first responding dumb ass.

      If he doesnt admit it, I will. I'm also a first-aider / responder; so I am morally and ethically obligated to aid somebody in distress that is within my limitations. Its all good stuff to know, just a drag when you help out somebody that turns out to be a complete ass monkey

        I agree, I'm not doggin on 'em by any means. I'm a first-aider too, just completed the course earlier this summer. Doesn't make ya a dumbass at all. It's usually elderly or idiots that we end up helping. Few things that could have helped him not get negged? Dont copy and paste information - and if you do, know what your copying and pasting so the %u(insertnumbershere) crap pops up. That tells me your not saying this off the top of your head, that your copying and pasting it from a website, while trying to tell me you know what your doing (not saying either of you dont, the information given is correct). -- All in nutshell, I agree with said document, poorly relayed as it was. But also mildly unneccisary to be posted since most of these people could care less about the proper steps to be taken in the situation. Now if you'll excuse me, my fingers need to rest after this story.
