Jordanian member of parliament pulled a gun on a political activist during a furious debate live on Jordanian TV on Friday.

The MP, named in a YouTube clip of the confrontation as Mohammed Shawabka, was debating a political activist named in the clip as Mansour Sayf al-Din Murad, discussing aspects of Jordanian politics including attitudes surrounding the uprising in Syria.

As the discussion became more heated, each of the men accused the other of various crimes and deviancies, including working for the Israeli Mossad intelligence agency. “You’re a Mossad agent,” said one. “You’re a big crook,” said the other.

One is calling the other a syrian spy, who reciprocates by calling him “a mossad spy” when the guy on the left curses the other guy’s mom, the later throw a shoe at him, and then pulls up a gun.

I am a huge fan of the 'shoe throw' but am always disappointed by their little feet. I've been waiting for the 'Work Boot Beat Down' to happen.

I dunno. Show throwing has always seemed kind of pointless to me, because sooner or later you are going to have to walk over and pick it up, which is counter-productive. Not to mention it makes the thrower look retarded while putting it back on.

When I know there might be heavy words said I wear my flip-flop bandolier and speed pitch them. I always leave one to walk away on. I lead with my right sandal.

Hahaha. Somehow, I think we've put too much thought into this.

Sorry Scorpion, meant to you; I've got fat fingers, and my broken thumb doesn't help.

Yup, I've broken many a finger on Tranny Tuesday myself but by Sunday the splint is usually off. Must be getting an extra workout with all the skinny bitch porn on here lately.

Gun is a tool that can kill someone. When you take it out, you better have good reason (bettter use it and have good enough reason to justify it in the court or dont take it out at all). If jyou are "using" it to intimidate an opponent in verbal argument, you are a fucking pussy. That shows your wit cant support your argument and your physical statue doesnt support your compsure. And not to mention you dont even have the gut to use that gun and face the consequence. This man is a coward.

Agreed... If you're gonna' decide to pull your weapon then you had better be prepared/willing to use it... Pulling a weapon and thinking that it will intimidate someone is a quick way to find out if it will fit up yer ass. Once ol' chubby nuts realized it was a bluff and walked over to Quickdraw, he shoulda' grabbed the Gak and pistol-whipped the shit outta' the punk. Yep... Coward... Respects

The weapon you never see is the most dangerous. One of our trainers, (I work closely with law enforcement as a trainer myself) almost killed a man with a dinner plate during a negotiation in NE Africa. The man had an AK-47 pointed at him at the time and thought it was enough. Imagine his surprise when he woke up in a holding cell two days later with he head sewed back on after almost dying because of flatware.

Hmmm and Jordan is one of the "moderate" states.. scarey..
    • olympicFapper | 12 months ago | +3
and Jordan happens to be an American ally, just like Saudi Arabia & Pakistan... just to let you know, the American taxpayers picked the tab for a state of the art 100 million dollar training facility in Jordan to create a special forces team... and... the king named the facility after himself to put the cherry on top of the cake...

In case anyone is wondering, throwing a shoe at someone is considered an insult in the region, and that's why Bush had to dodge the shoe in Iraq... For some reason, throwing the shoe is quite common as a form of dissing someone.

And according to Arabic psychology, if you show restraint and act calm, it is deemed a sign of weakness, of being castrated, so such over the top acts and gesticulations are the norm to show 'you mean business' - lots of finger-jabbing the air, arm-waving, 'almost' hitting and shooting the other. For example, a calm Brit sitting there, restraining his anger and keeping cool woud be seen as a weak man, with something to hide, someone to be suspicious of.

The shoe throwing milarky is all about associating the sole and what it's stepped in, ie camel shit.
Thats why they don't wear them when they go into the Mosque for suicide bomb planning.
Sorry prayer, after all you don't want to kiss camel shit when you worship Alli the peado !

It's always the Jews and the Zionists fault, according to these people.
