FYI: I worked for a municipal sewer dept. for 5 years. We would clean the sewers daily (with machines not hands) at the end of the day when you would dump the truck and sift thru all the solids with a water hose or a rake ( about 2 wheelbarrows amount after the sludge drained away) it was almost a guarantee to find gold rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. Not to mention the pay was pretty good because no one wanted to do it.
@ CL. no body parts one time we thought we found one but it turned out to be a chicken leg quarter...And a bit of info about corn. Most people don't even chew corn! It usually came thru as whole kernals!

I saw a video once where an older man came out of the sewer after doing this , absolutely covered in shit . None of the women from the neigborhood would give him any water to wash with because he was an untouchable . He just used his body to unclog their sewers , but he was to lowly to use their water to clean up with . That country is fucked up . Ps , finally a woman came and brought him a bucket of water and cave all the other women holy hell . At least I think that's what she was doing .
Untouchability and the caste system is the spine of Hinduism. The Vedas say that when god created man, The "Brahmins" (highest caste/scholars) were made out of parts of his mouth. The "kshatriya" (middle caste/ soldiers, workers) were made out of parts of gods hands and the "shudras" ( lower untouchable caste/ cleaners, scavengers) were made from gods sole (foot), They believe that god created them in such a way because each man, according to his caste was destined to do a certain job in society and an untouchable according to them is incapable of learning like the "brahmins"..sad but true.
