on that whole slavery thing, consider this..northern ireland and the brits, jews and arabs, india and pakistan, macedonia and hungary, all of these represent centuries old animosity from 1 group toward another. How are black people any different? they're the only people brought here in chains, forced to work under threat of death and mutilation, their slave labor built the economy of the entire western hemispere, had 300 years of Institutionalized oppression aimed at specifically them. Yet they've voluntarilly fought in every war (the war of independence and the civil war while still under slavery) and WWI under segregation, and championed equal rights under the law for all minorities and women. the NAACP even represents us whites! If you think about how black people have been treated over the centuries a person could see why they may habor a little resentment...I'm guessin I'll get about 50 negs for this....
