Brutal Los Angeles police beating caught on cam

On August 11th, 2006, William Cardenas, 24 from Hollywood, California was arrested and brutally beaten by the Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. The cops would have gotten away with the beating if it wasn’t for a neighbor who video-taped the beating on her camera

    Well he was resisting arrest. What are they supposed to do. You can see he is fighting them. People don't understand that when a police officer places you under arrest that is it. There is no arguing or fighting. That is up to a court to decide. If you were wrongly arrested, then that's the time to argue. No ifs ands or butts. -2 reply

Basically, there's no need to punch a person in the face several times when he is scared and trying to defend himself from what knows is coming.     A little more force than necessary. But cops are trained to use the amount of force they feel necessary to appertain the suspect. So if you get caught in a situation like this. Just do what the police tell you to. reply
