When I was biking at camp with some kids, I had a stupid tote bag for my swim stuff instead of a backpack like a sensible person, so I had it half hanging off the handlebars, and all of a sudden, it swung into my front wheel - went straight over the handlebars and landed chest first on the sidewalk. Scraped skin from my crotch to chest, and the worst winding I ever got. Then, first day with a new bike I was pedelling down the street, and I was trying to fix my helmet, then I realized I was reaching the end of the street and going out into the intersection so I jammed on the brakes - on my old bike I would've skidded about 10 feet, my new bike braked on a dime, and I went flying over and landed on my chin. Bunch of stitches, lucky I didn't break my jaw and I still have the scar... anyways storytime's over I guess. +1 reply
