A fine, upstanding member of the community, affectionately called "Stomper"(presumably because of his resemblance to a bunny, and NOT because he was a violent piece of shit) was shot after running from and confronting police. Not surprisingly, the community that pisses and moans that police don't do enough to keep their neighborhoods safe, decided to riot after witnessing cops doing anything close to resembling their job.

In an attempt to break up the unruly crowd, police employed the use of non-lethal projectiles (Beaner-bags) and paint balls. Apparently, they should have just let the crowd do what the fuck they wanted, since the dumb-fuck animals decided to bring their children out to show them the proper way to behave (ie- throwing bottles at cops, refusing police orders to disperse, blocking public roads, etc...) in public, not considering that a crowd of angry adults facing off with police might not be the safest place for their little anchor babies.
The news channel, in this situation, did a complete 360(:)) from normal media coverage of police interactions with minorities, and aired an interview of a women who was "scratched" by a dogs teeth, and cried about how the police "shot children".

The reporters seem disgusted by the fact that the police "unleased a dog" on the crowd, even though the video makes it painfully obvious that the handler was chasing the dog, presumably because the dog broke free and was not "released".

This is simply more fodder for people who hate police and feel that any officer of the law is a power hungry, abusive, bullied-as-a-child punk who just wants to carry a gun and boss people around. Of course, the same people who say this demand prompt police action when they need it.

Maybe some of the "victims" in the video will get their green cards and some cash out of the deal, that way they can start paying income taxes and contributing to the cost of the police patrols that they hate so much.

Everyone talks shit about cops until as Al Pacino said in "SEA OF LOVE" the "wet ass hour" then they pray for an officer to show up.

Yeah there are some fucked up police officers but that goes with any line of work.

All of these people in this video carrying on like cops were kill crazy Nazis, would be calling the cops in a heartbeat if some vatos broke into their homes.

You got it. There's no win for police in these areas. As far as the residents are concerned, police either OVER-react, or UNDER-react. There is no in between.

If the cops sicked a dog out on your ife and kid , with no more provocation than that , you'd be fine with it ? Don't lie now .

Much agreement here. The incredible lack of empathy for our law enforcement has grown out of control for years. No wonder police officers think there is a line drawn in the sand with how the media portrays them.

Yeah i work security at a club on weekends, people spit on us untill they get in a fight, then expect us to rush in and defend them by kicking the other persons ass.
      Its a bunch of bullshit

It's part if the reason I never became a cop but I'm a civilian instructor, they still keep trying to convince me but I know it would be a bad idea. I see people being bullied and I can't help myself but step in. I see people buying drugs or selling to adults and I din't give a shit. I have a way to selective feeling about what laws should and shouldn't be enforced and like many of these mislabeled cops, (and all too often correct) I suspect I may break down and become a hateful cunt and beat people just for lipping off.
        • Silke | 10 months ago | +6
Also I'd like to point out that most of the cop haters suggest all to often that racists, woman beaters, child molesters or even rapists need to be tortured and killed. But when a cop has someone spit in his face he's suppose to pull out a Kleenex and just add it into his report. These same people would be the out of control authority types they accuse others of being. They are exactly right sometimes but so is a stopped watch twice a day. I'd rather have cops that were human and fucked up once in a while then a bunch of uncompromising super cops with no empathy.

Cops deserve one thing. A bullet. And if you side with them you are the enemy. The only people that need these worthless cops are the ones that are to stupid to take care of themselves. Omerta!

As with most things on the net, there appears more to this story than just an isolated incident. In a follow up report from KCAL 9 News, it appears that this was the seventh police officer involved shooting in that area this year. While I understand and approve of "the rule of law" (anarchy results without it), I am no fan of "law enforcement". I've seen too many people who have had the law "selectively enforced", and witnessed how corrupt officers will do whatever it takes to meet their twisted goals. I guess I'm showing my age, but I can remember a time when police were POLICE and not heavily armed paramilitary... Some could argue a reflection of the times, but it's a shame we've gotten to where we are today. Follow up article:KCAL follow up

If the cops did nothing wrong then why would they try to buy the videos? It disgusts me that people defend the police when they go apeshit. I think every cop involved should be suspended without pay until the investigating finds them innocent of any wrong doing. Seven police shootings in this area this year? that's one a month... I wouldn't (and don't) trust them either. Your back story also seems a bit one sided with several assumptions in it.
    • psychmike | 10 months ago | +2
That's what was told to the reporter. I hope the cops aren't that stupid. I'd have uploaded it then sold them the video.
    • tshezz | 10 months ago | +1
They would cry if the video was simply confiscated as evidence.
    • deleted | 10 months ago | +1
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way about his assumptions
      • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1
My backstory was one-sided to contrast what in my opinion was a one sided report. Yes, I made assumptions, much like the reporters made assumptions such as the police released the dog, implying it was intentional, and assuming the people claiming the police offered to buy the videos were telling the truth.

Oh I see so youre just contributing to all of this BS? Like I said before I agree with what you said. The part that threw me off were your racial coments and lack of sympathy for the children "with stupid parents who did deserve to be shot"
          • psychmike | 10 months ago | +3
I have sympathy for the children, but I put the blame squarely on the parents for putting them in a dangerous situation. The cops have to do their job. This is the same argument that was going on the other day about human shields- its despicable that children were hurt, but there's an emotional play being made when you report that police shot children, as if they opened fire with suotguns and 9mm's. They were sandbags and rubber bullets. I know they hurt, and in rare instances can be deadly, but the police had to stop this before it got out of hand, children or not.. You wouldn't bring your kids into a situation like this, and neither should anyone else. The parents failed their children.
            • deleted | 10 months ago | +2
You're right mike the parents did fail their children. Those kids deserve better parents and should be taken away. The police officers also failed the children mike. More than just a fail the police injured the children. That's what's not acceptable
              • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1
What was their alternative option? Do nothing? Try to go hand to hand, outnumbered, with the people who didn't have children with them? I you had been in charge of the police in scene, what would you have ordered them to do-keeping in mind you had to prevent the crowd (which was blocking streets, starting fires, and according to the witness interviewed, throwing water bottles at the police) from getting any more out of hand?
                • deleted | 10 months ago | +2
The crowd went crazy because of unlawfulness. Illegal or not, people still know what's wrong and what's right. What they saw must have been very wrong to get this outcome. Of I was in charge I would have called for back up. Dogs, rubber bullets and bean shooters don't compare to a bottle of water. And it was one dumpster fire. Look these people are all low lifes there's no doubt in my mind about that. Let them deal with the consequences. You just don't get the point, it was wrong to shoot at the children or anywhere near them. Forget the dog that can go both ways but you saw them dragging a child away from the scene. And the way you worded everything was just wrong. I'm sure you don't talk that way in front of your nieces and nephews. At least I hope you don't. You would probobly just tell them a bunch of shit and try to get out of it with your cool way with words. I'm sorry, you're dumb bro. But whatever to each his own. I'm out
                  • psychmike | 10 months ago | +2
Called for back-up? What would've happened then? What would you do with even more police? Selective hand to hand combat? You didn't answer the question of how to resolve this situation, and it because you don't know any other way. Neither do I, and neither did these cops. They did what they had to do. Sucks for those kids.
As far as my nieces/ nephews- fuck no I wouldn't talk to them like this. Of course I wouldn't let them look at post op trannys and cum shots either.
I get it though, you're Hispanic, and you feel lumped in with illegals and scumbags-sorry bout that, but blame it on the millions of actual illegals who look like you. You cant come up with a little respect for the cops, or place the blame on the parents where it belongs, and you're using my use of the word beaner as an excuse to ignore the dumb-assery of these shits bringing their kids to a goddamn riot. Sure, I'm dumb, but my head isn't in the sand.

with all due respect, mike you're a stupid son of a bitch,I hope the dog would have bit a baby in your family, trust me you would see things very different you fucking idiot.. thank you and have a nice day you retarded piee of dog shit.;)
                      • psychmike | 10 months ago | +2
I wouldn't have my baby at a riot, but whatever works for you.
    • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1
So criminals should be presumed innocent until proven guilty, but police are to be suspended without pay anytime they are accused of wrongdoing until they can PROVE their innocence? Something wrong with your thinking pal...
      • fkbisme | 10 months ago | +3
People accused of a crime (they aren't criminals if they haven't been proven guilty) can sit in jail while trying to prove their innocence. Family relationships get strained, bills at home start piling up and if they have a lawyer, legal fees start to build. Being suspended without pay doesn't seem so bad. These people are supposed to lead by example and if they knew that there may be disciplinary actions other than a stern talking to or a paid vacation they might think twice before going all wild west or beating or unjustly shooting someone...pal.
        • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1 -2
It also might encourage people to make false accusations against police simply to get them put on unpaid leave.
  • Smexxar | 10 months ago | +5
dont bring your children, when protesting the police.
    • WTFALO2JEFE | 10 months ago | +1 -1
      Its safer than movie theaters
  • spaceaged | 10 months ago | +5
I could care less about the adults in the video , but come on...there was a fucking stroller, and some lady holding a toddler and you let the shepard loose on em? On top of that, those bean bags shouldnt have been even fired in the direction of those children, sure its gonna cause some pain to a full sized adult, but it would do alot worse to a baby or toddler... just should have been handled differently
    • Silke | 10 months ago | +1
I can't fault your comments, (see plus added) but from what I saw the police were pointing their shotguns in a downward trajectory probably to reduce the likelihood of striking a child, (if they miss the round will hit the sidewalk instead of traveling down range and hitting a kid in the face. And the dog as mentioned earlier looked like it escaped during the confusion. This is what I saw from the video and I sure hope that's what happened.

In any case I'm sure this could have been handled better, but as with escalation this shit has a way of boiling to a very dangerous and way too often fatal head. Just glad nobody else got killed although trama still occurred.
    • tshezz | 10 months ago | +1
At the very beginning you can see'mom with the stroller then someone else push the stroller away. And mom just stands there.
  • BigGreenmachine | 10 months ago | +4
Its time for people to accept responsibility for there own actions. Not everything is the cops fault. And if someone gets shot in your neighborhood maybe you wanna keep your kids inside for a bit
  • DoubleJ | 10 months ago | +4
Their are good cops and bad cops. Just like their are good teachers and bad teachers so on and so on. I don't think the police went looking for trouble. The mob of thugs and no goods decided to.start raising hell and they themselves lost control of their own situation. The police were protecting themselves and doing their.jobs. no it didn't go as smooth as it should of been but what the hell are you going.to expect when you start throwing shit and threating police officers? Btw why run from the police. That's just stupid in itself.
  • Jonnyb | 10 months ago | +4 -1
He said "beaner bags" lol that is what I was gonna say! If this would have happend in Compton it would havebeen watermelon rifles..... just sayin
  • boontime | 10 months ago | +2
dog didnt look like it was accidently released to me, it had no leash on meaning it had been set loose, the dog went off doing his job and the officer got the dog off as he was supposed to, it just got out of control. or do officers in america not keep dogs on leads whilst on duty?
    • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1
From what I've understand, if there is a possibility they may have to release the dog, they remove the leash and control it by the harness. They remove the lease to prevent the dog from becoming entangled while pursuing a suspect, ie- becoming hung when jumping a fence
      • Hexaggon | 10 months ago | +3 -1
they release the leash from your mom so she doesn't become entangled while sucking dick
        • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1 -1
Wow, that is an incredibly well thought out, original, and clever insult. How unique to inject my mother into the argument, insinuating that she is premiscious. It's funny because you said they'd release HER from the leash, just like the dog was released from the leash. A real winner in the burn department. Plus to you!
          • txdomsk1 | 10 months ago | +1
I think you mean promiscuous. Certainly not loquacious, otherwise she would have taught you to slepl better.

            ;-)
            • psychmike | 10 months ago | +1
Thanks- I'll try to work on my slepling
      • Silke | 10 months ago | +1
In Vancouver this is exactly the case, (not my specialty just civilian knowledge). Also a suspect can gain control of the lead and if so may be able to turn the weapon, (dog that is) on another person or officer. (Not at all likely but still chances can't be taken those dogs are fucking terrifying, if I was protesting and saw dogs I'd be so gone.)
  • wes323 | 10 months ago | +2
Maybe you shouldn't bring your baby to A FUCKING RIOT!!!... stupid bitch.
    • Hexaggon | 10 months ago | +2 -1
you shouldn't bring your mother to a fucking gang bang stupid bastard
