I guess they just need to know ya, and understand it means no disrespect. Yet not all except the word so, you have to use good jugdement, and need to know the person well! +8

It is also used to denote that a person is male, "That nigga Shawn be trippin', bangin' them chicks without rubbers". I hope your understanding is a little bit better now. It's absolutely fucking absurd. believe it or not the late, great comedian Richard Pryor is the one responsible for bringing the word "nigger" to the forefront back in the late 70's and all of those kids that grew up listening to those LPs became comedians on Def Comedy jam and immoratlized the word.
