PLEDGEY | 10 months ago | +5Although extremely uncomfortable for the bird, this will not kill them. You have to use a substance which creates gas much quicker, something like Calcium Di-carbide. This probably won't make them explode, but will expand so quickly that it causes fatal internal injures. This was one of the subjects that was brought up when i took my pest control exam. There is even a letter from alka seltzer stating it doesn't kill birds.
