  Thing is Ron is that the war on drugs has been going on in America for decades! Marijuana has been demonized sinse the 30's and still carries a heavy jail sentence for possession/distribution. Any sane, rational person would fundamentally agree that locking people up for smoking the green smacks on insanity, but hysteria is the language of the establishment and its probably going to stay that way until the government figures a way to make profit from it, also the fact that it makes people accepting and docile )among other things) is always going to be despised by the authoritys...

      This film was made in the 30's to demonize the green! Shows a man supposedly under the influence of marijuana hacking his family to death and becoming a sex crazed maniac (among other things) like i said public hysteria always takes precedence over the facts relating to drug use!

still - mary jane makes you lazy and slowly disconnects you from the world. i have no problem with people smoking a spliff or two but when i look around i see kids who get absolutely hammered preferably off the strongest stuff the world has ever seen. they usually cannot be bothered to do anything useful with their lives and end up sponging off the state. i am subject to random checks in my current job, hence me laying off the pot, if i wasn't i'd still be having the occasional toke but it's a far cry from what them kids get up to these days. i agree: a bit of pot does/did no harm to anyone. large amounts of super strains consumed all day long do, however.

  I hear what you are saying. I used to smoke an ounce every 12 days, spent all my money on weed for years, and after I quit, I became a boozer and a prime degree wanker. Nevertheless, I still think weed is God's gift to mankind. And, nothing tops British Columbian produce (in my opinion).

    interesting sentiments but i got over my pessimist phase and i don't believe in kids being genetically programmed to fail in life. fapper: i too have turned to booze when i cut down on the toke but it's not made me more of a cunt than i have been before. prolonged alc consumption lowers self esteem whereas weed just prevents you from actually giving a shit. as i said: i don't dislike it and i certainly won't lobby for it being/staying condemned. i just think socienty needs to take a different approach and there must be an end to breeding ever stronger strains.

      i use to get high before going to school i got the best grades i have ever had did my home work everyday got more done in my shop classes and i had the good shit back then to but when i stoped smoking my grade slipped i didnt do my home work as often pot makes everything more interesting i do have a little touch of add so maybe pot just mellowed me out

I've never tried weed before, but I don't see a reason to demonize it so bad. It looks like a pretty decent and very natural drug. I need to try it sometime...
