Lesson: Your life is a tiny speck in the vast ocean of time. Don't waste what little time you have on petty bullshit. Enjoy your time and don't be a dick so that others can enjoy their time too.
Karma and the law are great equalizers. If you're a big enough dick then you're likely to end up damaged, dead, or spending some or all of your valuable time in a 6'x8' cell. Not enjoyable at all!
im going to get myself frozen for the next 250'000 years with the land all mushed together it's goin to save on air fair haha... awesome video tho it makes you think..
thats good cause the money you're saving on airfare will all together be spent on the engineering of your cryogenic freezer, oh the land your wishing to do all this on, oh and protection from vandals and other people wanting to steal everything from you while you're in your sleepy time... a REALLY good alarm clock that will not have biodegraded by then, and you might wanna think about having some extra cash for the inflation that could possibly have happen by then, or the fact that cash might be gone, so you will also need some sort of long term broker company/family thing that will last that long to trade your cash for God knows what the currency will be in that time... but hey... cheap airfare is totally worth it!!
I was gonna say! There already WAS a supercontinent that took millions of years to separate into the 7 continents. I didn't understand this theory that it would just turn right back around and start pulling together again. This was cool, but I'm not sure I believe it.
Well the bible tells us that space ghost will come down and pick a few of us to take to heaven. It doesn't mention anything about the sun or other galaxies. Come to think of it. The bible left out computers and the Internet and cell phones. I don't think those exist either!!
you make a valid point in that the future can be a very unpredictable thing. you have to understand though, that hippie 70's scientists really hoping that human kind would invent neat shit by now is far different from the kind of technology we have today and the tracking of starts, galaxies, and even the movement of our continents here on earth. so maybe they're off by a thousand years or two down the road, but i imagine that this is quite an accurate depiction of what may very likely be the future of our corner of the universe

Someday we truly will become a melting pot.BTW,anyone who tells you that we can "save the planet" is a fool.
But if the African/European continents split from the Americas in the first place - from what scientists have called Pangea - and they continue to move apart - also as scientists believe, why would they suddenly reverse direction and collide?
In addition to plain text you can also add links to: - images - video pages - anything else Simply add a link just like this: http://i.imgur.com/fhfnG.gif and we will do the rest. We will transform all links into clickable links and if the link points to an image or a youtube video page we will open that image / video in a clean pop.
