This is probably not the site to post this since it lacks the flapping material. But I was important for me to share.

It was a good upload, this site isn't just for grotesque and bizzare material but things that make you think about what you've just seen. Nice post. 1

This was great Schitzengiggles - thank you for sharing it. And yes this IS the site for it...it's exactly the site for it because I would like to believe that we are not barbarians that get off on others misfortune. Most of us have souls.

Thats bullshit I do get off on others misfortune and I Do have a soul, but if you believe in God the only thing that gets fucked up is your shell. You can take a double tap to the weiner, and still have your soul and your asshole.

He was a man out of his time. He wrote some AWESOME stuff. After seeing the post video, Chaplin had a LIT to say considering he did mostly silent films

This is one of my favorite Zappa tunes. I saw him once, great show. They did play this song, and Zappa's blistering leads on this one were just incredible. He just JAMMED till that cigarette burned down behind a string.

Great job, Schitzengiggles... I almost cried... This is my heaven, to have friends, family, a world where everyone has a free mind and thus they respond to me as a free person, whether it a figment of my imagination, illusion, or real. This is my heaven, I'm glad I can see it finally... Thank you

very stupid, nice speech. only that this video cut off the most important part. first there is all this humanitarian rethoric about power and democracy and toleance and what not. and in the end the crowd cheers and applauds in the same way as they do after a fascist speech. and nothing changes. only that now we spectators feel good about ourselves how good we are and how enlightened and all hose wonderful things. perfect opiate for the peeople just like fashionable environmentalism and comparable shit. in a way i hate this kitsch!

Similar to the way a man will masturbate to the image of a beautiful woman so he can feel like a stud even if only for a moment. It makes me wonder if it is due to human nature that the power of speech is so effective when moving people to do truly horrible things, but not so much towards selflessness. I feel your disgust towards people who are addicted to these "feel good" fixes to mask the overall pain of a life devoted to pleasure seeking, who only feel alive when sitting on a couch in front of a TV, and try to think about the pain and suffering going on in the world as little as possible. But then do you give up hope for peace, or try to change human nature?

Considering this was made in 1940 it seems more relevant now than ever.

I think it's just me but I believe that there should be peace, but let's be real here that's never going to happen. Its nature in which any species not just humans that can't live side by side and not fight. It's just more then greed and technology that make people fight it's beliefs and who is better then the other. Sic vis pacam para bellum= if you want peace prepare for war.

Good comment. I would like to pose a question to you, because I came to the same conclusion you did before I came to this question that made me not so sure. Every other species of life on this planet is subject to effects of nature. We aren't. We change the natural world to suit us. The question is this... Are we subject to our own nature, or can we change that too?
