If no form of spirituality/religion had ever existed, we still would have found a reason to kill each other. I'm not defending organized religion by any means, but to say it was the only thing that threatened us is probably a gross overstatement.

Looking at the trends of recently elected right wing parties coming into power in European countries, you could quite easily think that it's all about to kick off..

As you pointed out: One problem in the USA lies in the news media and their owners. 96% of all media in the USA is owned by Jewish intrests (many of them are leftists). The people who never question the mainstream media dont seem to realize - "the media is an illustration of intent". There is an adjenda behind it! Thankfully, the internet has enlightened some americans, but the constant push for internet sensorship is frightening.
