At least he died with a smile on his face
    • MileHighBadBoy | 10 months ago | +13
I think that's him grinding his teeth from the meth he was on stealing copper. Plus I'm sure getting zapped and on meth you'd smile to knowing you just did the world a favor...

      *electrifying smile.

when dealing with current and voltage...you must remember Ohm's Law.....Ohm you better not do that................................................................................
(ohm's law is current = voltage divided by resistance)

ohms law is a theory , youve only given one example , nice try at sounding brainy but your almost there !!..... and you know what they say about theory ......
      • deleted | 10 months ago | +4 -1
It is never written as a theory anywhere. It is always stated as a law of science. I have an Electronics Engineering degree.... I challenge you to find a good source that states that it is a theory.... here are a few sources for me....

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm's_law

        • burnsidesinner | 10 months ago | +1 -1
yea check ya book !! it is a law and youve only given one part of the theory that goes with it ..... everyones got a degree on the net .....
          • burnsidesinner | 10 months ago | +1
literal meaning of theory in scientific terms is the term used to describe something to be scientific fact !! just incase you missed that at engineering school , i only picked that up in high scool .....

Reading all of these comments has given me a good grounding in a subject which is shockingly electrifying.

he must have had one of those cartoon lightbulb ideas.
  • deleted | 10 months ago | +2
Um.... How did he get zapped? What's that he's breaking into?
    • Wagingwetard | 10 months ago | +1
High voltage switch.. probably around 16k.. probably was a romex (house wire) jockey and thought that since he had a little knowledge he might be able to get the copper without getting zapped.. he should of stuck to making sure light switches don't say "NO" when they are turned off and left that kind of switch to the professionals..
      • tdubya | 10 months ago | +2
Looks like a switching station of some sort. Never dealt with utility myself but I hear each insulator is rated for about 5k, I see five I think. Kinda obscured by his fried shoulder area.
      • burnsidesinner | 10 months ago | +1
he probably thought touching one cable might be fine ....... thought wrong !!
  • deleted | 10 months ago | +2
Trying to get enough voltage to his flux capacitor cost him his arm.

Was the ground now into the ground. Looks like it held his ass for a bit the way he was crispy but not flash burnt.
      • skullDconstruction | 10 months ago | +1
The ground? Because electricity takes path of least resistance to ground? What are you getting at, sir?
        • electricalalchemy | 10 months ago | +2
Current is highest on path of least resistance. Electricity takes all paths. Some roads are just less traveled.
      • theSmoker | 10 months ago | +1

  • MissFilth | 10 months ago | +2
I've seen at least 4 gypsies at work in the last few months claiming to have accidentally electrocuted themselves trying to save dogs etc. Stupid fuckers make a right mess of themselves, the last one had compartment syndrome of both arms and his abdomen had split. The bastards knock my local mobile mast off and then i have to pay for the tax and national insurance dodging fuckers health bill!
    • fickle1 | 10 months ago | +1
man they fucking annoy me, you lock shit up put a bunch of signs that say fuck off and what do they do electrocute themselves, then someone goes up and tries to sue for negligence.
