The Tough Guy 2012 competition took place on January 29 2012 in Perton England. Every year thousands of men and women tackle the course which is described on the Tough Guy website as eight country miles filled with freezing mud and barbed wire cuts scrapes burns dehydration hypothermia acrophobia claustrophobia electric shocks sprains twists joint dislocation and broken bones. First staged in 1986 it has been widely described as the toughest race in the world with up to one third of the starters failing to finish in a typical year.

    I'm in too, as long as we can take out the freezing part, I consider myself pretty tough, but when it comes to cold, I'm a 6 year old little girl.

  Looks like more fun than my last trip to england. Im too old for that shit, but it looks like fun. Well all but the bloody head, and dude minus the clothing. But the rest looks like a fun time!

This years was relatively tame due to slightly warmer weather, generally it's colder or even covered in snow... 1 mile of running in snow while wet is hard enough let alone 8 with all those obsticles
