Sorry to hear this, may he fight and beat this. Lost my mom a couple of years ago to this demon called cancer, not a whole lot I could tell you as I have erased much of her painful demise to rather focus on the best days of her life and the best of her and my time with her, I just can't remember much, I asked so many questions and reserached every corner of the internet looking for answers, seems it's inevitable that what's gonna happen is bound to happen, everything I did was basically done to make her feel comfortable and have her know she was not alone, I did have a vaporizer and would often supply and help her vaporize kind bugs so she could fight the nausea from treatment and give her and appetite, it also helped for many good laughs.....I was told about a vitamin injection named something along the lines of D-fort, only obtained across the border and not fda approved, but heard from many to be a wonder drug in the fight against cancer, though my mom was willing to try it and I was willing to obtain it..

Had that about two years ago, lost my mom to cancer and not a year later I had to put my pooch down, had her in my life for 15 years that dog, seems she also never recovered from the loss of losing my mom, what sucks is just having to continue on with out them, and like anyone else I have good and bad days, I have a very very small family, but I get by with them and I'm fortunate to have great friends in my life.

While cycling through an intersection a driver in the opposite direction made a left in front of me, I went through the windshield and back out as soon as he stomped on the fucken brakes, I flew off and somehow landed on my feet, people on the street were looking at me like I was superman.......and when I was a teeny bopper I rolled my picked up truck about 6 times on the freeway coming home drunk from partying with my buddy as passenger, we both lived and about a year later I guess my friend didn't have enough or wanted to try his luck and ended rolling his car while drunk about a quarter mile from where I did the year before, he lived.

I feel for you man, I had to put my dog of 14 years down aswell this February, and the pain still lingers hard, she was the absolute loyalist, I had her cremated so she is always near my side in the den were we spent more time together then I think with any one family members, it was age and kidney failure, but I lost my mom to cancer a year before that and them.two were very close too, my dog was not the same after losing mom, I know sadness brought on her illness, I can shed a fucken tear just thinking of the both of them any time of any day, I seen my mom suffer and then seen my dog suffer before having to make choices for the both of them, and what sucks is continuing on without them, as for my girl in all honesty true to my heart I can say with positivity that she never spent more than an hour on a leash, she roamed the yard had a doggy door, and not a dog house but her own room..... I know how you feel, our pain ain't unique, but we do suffer in our own way.

Although the roads belong to everybody, some motorists

don’t see it that way. Maybe you’ve had a run-in with a

driver who threw something at you or even tried to force

you off the road. Such acts are illegal, but unless a police

officer witnesses the crime, it’s very difficult to bring the

motorist to justice.

That’s starting to change. Last year, the city of Los Angeles

passed an anti-harassment law—the first of its kind in the

nation—that empowers cyclists in new ways. Lawmakers

elsewhere are starting to take notice: In February, Berkeley,

California, passed its own version of the law. Last fall,

cyclists in Washington, DC, fought for one as well, although

it has not yet passed. Here’s how the new type of

legislation evens the playing field—and why you should

encourage your local or state representatives to enact a

similar law.

DEFINES HARASSMENT The law identifies specific types of

behavior—such as yelling, honking the horn, passing too

close, swerving toward a cyclist, or throwing objects out

the window—that qualify as harassment, so drivers can’t

argue that what they did wasn’t really against the law.

HELPS YOU SUE The new law makes it financially easier for

cyclists to pursue justice in civil court. It specifies that you

may sue for triple the actual damages—or $1,000,

whichever is higher—for each violation. You may also seek

punitive damages. You still need to provide evidence, such

as an eyewitness account, that the driver harassed you. But

because it is a civil trial, you don’t have to prove the driver’s

guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. It is enough to prove that

the driver probably harassed you.

MAKES IT EASIER TO GET A LAWYER The law also allows

cyclists to sue aggressive drivers for attorney’s fees. This

makes these cases more appealing to lawyers because

they know there’s a better chance they’ll get paid for their

work.
