Appreciate it. I was able to swap his controls for him. Took about 10 min. after I looked at it and figured out it was as simple as swaping the arms from each side. Really pretty easy since the arms were universal and could be mounted on either side anyway. I went ahead and spotted my man $100 so he could have some piece of mind anyway. He hasn't worked since he got sick and disability pay is a joke since he has no kids that live with him.

Kinda odd that this post was on here today. I ran into my friend at the corner store and asked him how he had been doing. He gets around on one of those souped up wheel chairs with hand controls and he took the blanket off of his hand and it was locked up in an odd position. He said it had been that way for about a week or two and he was trying to get someone from the wheel chair place to send a rep out to move the controls to the other side. They told him that they wanted to charge him a $200 dollar service call fee and he told me he really didn't have the extra money. I am going by his place tonight to see if it is something I could do for him. If not I am probably going to loan him the $200 even though he more than likely will have to stretch out paying me back. It's cool though. He is really a great guy and I believe he would do the same for me. Hard to believe how quickly he has gone from super active to sitting in that chair most of the time. Makes me grateful that I don't suffer from anything like that

If you are telling the complete truth this seems very fucked up. First, she is making you stand for hours doing homework while she sat slapping and humiliating you and you were 6. Then, "now that laws have changed" she does not even do homework with your younger brother? I mean, she abused one child for hours to get him to perform and then does not even do any homework with the other to the point that he get retained. When you get left back in the lower grades you are either learning challenged or there is absolutely no support at home.
