I don't necessarily disagree with you totally. I think we are on the same page so to speak. if you're lucky enough to be standing by exit in the first group run like a mug. If not it makes no sense to me to make yourself part of the reason people can't get out. The place in your video looked to me to have three exits that they showed. Panic caused way to many to try to get out of the front door. All I am saying is if you stop for a second, see that there is nothing you can do, you may get lucky and see the other exits. Two of the three I saw had nobody piled up at the door, hence guaranteed escape. How many were piled up at the front? More importantly, how many behind the pile didn't look for another way out? Nothing wrong with a little common sense even in the middle of a tragedy. I don't want to take up any more space on this post, I am done.

There could be someone smart enough to grab an extinguisher if it is close to them and contain a fire before it gets to that point. All I am saying is it would be nice to have access to one if this situation were to occur. If they are not visible, then this is not even an option. Run just run, I don't think that is a great idea either because it never fails someone is knocked to the floor blocking the path and instead of being picked up and put back on track, they get trampled and someone trips over them and before you know it 1becomes 10 and so on.
