I don't think that's too much of a worry due to beliefs of karma and reincarnation.

They need to take some lessons from Robbo. Do Indian street artists only tag on an auspicious day?

Is that the wife or the husband?
If that's the wife and I was the husband I'd throw myself under the wheels hoping for a quick death.

Sadly it wont stop government from seizing guns from citizens like was done during Katrina. Government feels they are above the law when it comes to disarming citizens. Remember Ruby Ridge & Waco. The 2A has not been enforced or obeyed since 1927 when the 1st Federal anti-gun law was passed.

"Free" America has banned citizens from home distilling any liquor since Prohibition was ended in 1933. ATF (the Waco murderers) regulates alcohol distilling with so many regulations, fees & taxes that it's only profitable for a business. Moonshining (illegal distilling) is a profitable art form in the South that is sadly dying off. Moonshiners is a neat show to watch if you want to see how it's done. NASCAR racing was a spin off from bootleggers driving hot rodded cars on back woods roads delievering loads of moonshine at night.

US citizens can brew limited amounts of beer or wine without governmental controls.

SgtSteiner commented on Cigarmann's Town of Ghosts

I saw Bodie in the 1990s during a college geology field trip to nearby Mono Lake. If anyone is in Cali they should visit Bodie & Yosemite. Hwy 395 has awesome scenery. Mammoth Lakes is nearby also. Bodie's a long drive off 395 on a washboard gravel road, but worth going. There is old mining equipment like giant pulleys scattered about. The buildings are neat to look into thru the dusty windows. I remember the undertakers shop with mini caskets for babies & small kids. It's a desolate, lonely & eerie place with that spooky almost constant wind the Sierra Nevada range gets.

For an H6 twist; prostitute Lottie Johl settled in Bodie & later married a butcher. The town shunned them due to the Victorian morals of the time & she lived a lonely life painting. She got sick & died after taking medicine from the doctor. It turns out she was poisoned. Her house is still standing. The book; Soiled Doves by Anne Seagraves is worth reading.

SgtSteiner commented on BorisYeltsin's Highway of Death, First Gulf War

I know if I was sitting in my car stolen from Kuwait at midnight & the traffic stopped and then explosions started to light up the sky along the roadway, I'm getting the fuck out of the car and running into the desert. Civilians don't have to follow orders unlike soldiers. By allowing their troops to drive vehicles stolen from Kuwait mixed in with military vehicles, Iraq singed the death warrants for any civilians killed that night. FLIR does not make it easy to ID which vehicles were filled with soldiers or civilians. WTF were Iraq civilians doing in Kuwait?

That's some great flying & a bit balzy to get close to the trees for an RC plane rescue. For the rotary wing pilots on here where would you go during 1:03-2:03 if you had an engine failure & had to do an autorotation?

That P-51 is pretty sweet, but I thought the Tuskegee pilots were using P-47s during D-Day. The white & black strips on the wings were used during the D-Day invasion. The red tail & wingtips are the markings of the 332nd.

strongminded replied to SgtSteiner's comment on Where is the humanity now ?

Sorry from a medical standpoint; Medicare pays the doctor $78 a day to treat this patient. Medicaid pays $54. About half have no insurance and gork themselves on a motorcycle - this pays $0. Add to this quilt ridden family members (like Shivo) who won't withdraw care plus a few lawyers circling the water and you cannot allow a patient to die with dignity.

SgtSteiner commented on catalin's Where is the humanity now ?

In the US & other western countries, the profit driven Medical Industrial Complex has a vested interest in keeping patients alive as long as possible, even in a persistent or permanent vegetative state with zero possibility of recovery. Remember Terri Schiavo? Prolonged suffering can be very profitable, unlike euthanasia. I guess the Sovereigns are correct in pointing out that citizens in many countries are simply governmental chattel. All humans do or should have the natural right of freedom & the choice to end their life at anytime, if they wish to. It's sad & hypocritical that the "moral" minority, mega corporations and government actively opposes assisted suicide. Euthanasia also places a lower burden on taxpayers & eliminates the common practice of profit driven medical facilities shifting the costs of "caring" for the un/under insured to other patients via higher rates.

Ng's trial cost the CA taxpayers $20 Million. It costs around $140,000 a year to keep Ng healthy on CA's scenic death row, more than what most taxpayers earn. Most likely he will die from bad health or old age. CA has not had an execution since 2006 & will probably never have anymore. The cost of "justice" in CA is very high.

At least Lake saved the taxpayers a bunch by popping his cyanide pill.
