I'm doing the same job in Australia and still remember being allowed to climb and walk the steel, sadly riding the hook had been banned when I started but we could still ride a load to the top when needed. I miss parts of it but other things I have no problem with having stopped. In this country OHS has gone mad, I work for an American mob at the moment and they are having huge difficulties with our legislation and standards, I pray that we can return to some of the work practices I remember. It used to be a fun and proud occupation now we can't fart without some stupid piece of paper to tell us how it must be done. Good to see a brother here cuff57.
