i work as a tattooist, and all can say is there is a big lack of originality. a couple years ago it was the tribal tramp stamp, then it went to stars, then the dandelion morphing into birds. i try to tell them that its played out, even if its causing me to make less money... "NAH i want it anyway" ... ok! you get it! what really kills me it tattooing your own name on your forearm as if it were a preparation for amnesia. whatever, to each his own!
