Did you keep the package the camera was mounted to? Mine had a wide flat plastic piece that doubled as the base of the box. It sits on my dash and the camera mounts to it. Plus, with the wifi remote (Im not rich I just HAD to have it) Its simple to turn on and off without bumping the camera. (HD Hero2 the biggest PITA to get all 3 batteries charged at the same time)

ok, upon further review, the tightrope walker had only 40m left in a 700m tightrope walk. There was no mention of how high up he was. From the footage he looked to be a couple hunder feet up at the highest point over the river.

At he point of the fall he might have been 50 feet or so. Still a big fall, but with the trees and vegetation the landing must've been soft.
