well more than looks - appearance - she/he could be "good looking" but dressed like a pauper(mean scruffy ) plus attitude = way they carry themselves ( do not know how to say that in one word )
pretty or ugly - if they carry themselves well , they get good tip
but i am still of the opinion that the European system works better
