While your wife is bitching in the background about running late, you'll manually override smart curtains, only to discover a few perverts in the bushes, gazing into your house with their google goggles. Your daughter will slam her backpack on the kitchen counter just a tad too hard and crack the $4,000 smart counter top, while you'll be fiddling around with the stove top, unable to activate the slide screen menu due to oil spill. You'll eventually burn your finger. While sitting on the shitter, the bathroom mirror and the smart tiles all around will transform the whole area into a conference video call. On your way to your car, you'll bump into one of those "Thanks Obama" glass panels that the Wilsons put up on your lawn without your permission. ![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Well, the one I read was mainly from developing countries etc where people either had pirate electric lines running into the buildings from the main line, or had relatives running power plants who turned a blind eye... It is interesting how the playing field is not very even. Some people have good hardware, and others seem to have free electric power. ![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Which will go even lower as time goes by... don't you find that odd? As more people join the network of bitcoin owners, the value will plummet, and people will get paid less and less for mining what remains to be mined, while possibly paying more in fees. It reminds me of a pyramid scheme except that the pyramid seems to be upside down in the reverse direction. Another myth about the bitcoin that we didn't discuss is how it is claimed that inflation of deflation cannot happen with bitcoins because of the fixed limit of 21million. In fact, it is the exact opposite. Inflation will happen exactly because of the fixed limit. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Why are they almost unavailable? Could the back orders be caused by a strategic cap on the production line to jack up the price by keeping the supply deliberately down, so that whatever is available could be auctioned off to the highest bidder? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin What would be the price that you'd consider low enough for buying coins instead of mining them? It seems like it is getting more expensive to mine as the time goes by. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper commented on cigarmann's Aileen Wuornos gone insane she has very creepy eyes.. pure rage. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper commented on thejoekenorer's Bitcoin How would you make that money back, if the value of bitcoins plummet below a point where you may end up paying more for your power bill and other "transaction fees" than what you get for mining? Taking into consideration how volatile this currency has proven to be, you may very well lose money, if the price drops below a certain level. Aside from all that, there are also other fees, which add up to your operational costs, and there is no guarantee that these fees will not be jacked up. So why would you actually risk sinking 50K into hardware and spending all that time mining, instead of just waiting for the prices to drop and just buy the damn coins directly? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper commented on thejoekenorer's Bitcoin In bitcoins, the miners do that job by mining out "hidden blocks" and there is only a limited number of blocks that remain to be mined, which means that, as time goes on, the cost of mining new blocks goes up, because while the newly mined blocks are worht less, the money you're spending on your power bill to run your mining rig is either the same or even higher than before. These "limited edition" blocks are "hidden" in the sense that the act of mining them out involves solving complex algorithms for which you need rather expensive hardware. When you say you need 50K to invest into an expensive rig, you are obviously expecting to make that money back pretty soon. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper commented on thejoekenorer's Bitcoin So let me get this straight; in a traditional system, currency transactions are carried out by the banks that keep the records and verify which funds go into which accounts. Bitcoin has something called 'mining', whereby the processing of bitcoin transactions takes place every 10 mins. These chunks of 10-min-data transactions are called 'blocks'. Basically someone has to process all those transactions, verify who owns which bitcoins, where the bitcoins are originating from and where they're heading to. For doing this job, miners are entitled to a small reward, technically a portion of the value of the 'block' that has been processed. The second function of mining is the injection of new funds into the system by mining out new blocks. It is what we'd call 'creating new money' in a traditional system, where the banks inject money into the system out of thin air. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Yep, sounds bullet proof to me... You got nothing to worry about other than mining those bitcoins and raking in 35K a month... | 2 weeks ago

![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Wired Magazine excerpt: "But it too is built on the foundation of buggy technologies we call the internet, and so Bitcoin must experience failures from the code around it. So they break the server below the money, or the web interface above it. They still win." | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin The chart you provided doesn't show what the nature of the transactions are, and I assume that most of those transactions are not the sort of transactions people make in their daily lives for their daily consumption needs. Do you have the chart showing how many people are using their BCs to buy merchandise from legit merchants, proving that the majority aren't sitting on their bitcoins, hoping to sell high? You don't have that chart because there is no legit track of who is buying or selling what, right? So, you actually have no way of knowing which one of these transactions are real consumer transactions, and which are illegal transaction or money laundering. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin So, you intend to redeem your future earnings through a prepaid card, which will hopefully be in the high range of 35K per month, like your associate's... and that way, you'll be all safe and secure... The dupes on the other end of the transaction will have no problems with you using a prepaid card for high value transactions. And if there are any complications that undermine BC in the US, you'll simply sell your rigs in a foreign market for 20 times the value you paid for them. Come on, man. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin I think what you are saying about BC is a lot more speculative than what I am saying... | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin So you don't really know for sure if he makes 35K a month, but presume that he makes that much based on his hash rate of 360Gh/s? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin You do realize that what you're saying undermines BC, right? Nobody seems to care if BC collapses eventually as long as they make a ton of money in a short period out of thin air. It sounds like everyone is rushing out to the site where the chicken that lays golden eggs have been spotted, and everyone wants to get a few golden eggs before the chicken dies. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin How many hours does it take for clients to download all transactions? Is the amount of time it takes each client to download all transactions go up, as the number of transactions increase? Is the capacity of the whole system to handle transactions in real-time reduced more and more, as the number of transactions increase? Here is a excerpt from Wired - "But it too is built on the foundation of buggy technologies we call the internet, and so Bitcoin must experience failures from the code around it. Hackers don’t care whose code they broke on their way to bitcoin, any more than pickpockets care that they’re exploiting the manufacturer of one’s jeans or leather wallet. ![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Oh, so he is not even your friend. How do you know he makes 35K a month for real, and if that is the case, why is he your business associate, when you say you are making 20 bucks a month from your mining? There is no spin in my line. Just valid questions. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin But you'd be invested in it enough to be hurt if you had sunk 50K into it, right? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Oh, don't get me wrong. I am not saying that nobody makes money in a ponze scheme. I am just not convinced that you will be making the sort of money you mention based on what you've said so far. Investing 50K and getting 57K per month, a friend making 37K every month, people selling 1K machines for 30K... SOunds like a good plan... The sky is the limit. The world is yours. Best of luck. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Wait till the same machines that were bought for $30K are being sold for $300, when things go tupsy turvy... Do you really believe this stuff? Based on what you're saying, had it not been for the 50K you need for the initial investment, you could be hitting jackpot. Is that what you're saying? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin It wouldn't be the first time the Elite violated our rights. I personally think that BCs were created to ease illegal transactions, provide anonymity to criminals and launder money. The banking cartel is probably involved, and they have no intention of letting virtual currencies become anything other than a means to carry out illegal transactions. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin So, if your friend is racking up 35K a month, then why did you create this thread asking people for their opinions? Ask your friend how he does it, follow his footsteps and you'll be making 35K out of thin air, too. And if he is really a good friend and believes in this scam, then he could loan you the money you need to start, and you could pay him back in a few months. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin No, not just like anything else. The current surrency is a legal tender protected by laws, virtual currencies like bitcoins are not. Worse case scenario, I can at least throw a rock through the window of my bank's local branch. Who will you chase after if the BCs collapse? | 2 weeks ago

![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Dude, come on, seriously. Some offer protection "if you pay for it"??? What a great solution. Let me ask you something. Do you feel comfortable giving out your personal and banking info to a complete stranger??? Because you'll have to at some point if you want to "covert", right? Keep in mind that there is absolutely no regulatory body overseeing the activities of these "strangers" to whom you are imparting critical and valuable info about yourself. It isn't really up to you how much risk there is. It is up to the other party and whether they have any intentions to screw you over. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Either the banking cartel and the criminal syndicates have a vested interest in the existence of virtual currencies, or they will simply undermine any virtual currency that may potentially rock the "fiat currency" boat. So far, because of its anonymity, BC tends to appeal more to those that use the virtual currency in illegal transactions, while millions of normal people, dreaming of hitting it big, simply sit on their BCs and hope to sell high. There isn't really much you can do with BCs other than shady transactions. If the banking cartel is interested, BC will have to be regulated one way or the other, which goes against the principle behind it. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin All blocks and transactions don't seem to go "instantly" public over the network for the obvious reason that, as the number of transactions increase, the amount of time it takes for each client to download all transactions goes up substantially, which causes a lag. Blocks are actually released into the network not instantly but gradually, as far as I understand it, and certain transactions have priority over other transactions during the process (I don't know why that is the case or who actually determines which transactions get the priority). Additionally, there have already been cases of hackers stealing BCs through bogus double transactions, and a guy has already been arrested in Australia for trying to use the network at his work place to initiate fake transactions. And since there was no regulatory body overseeing the bitcoin process, it was actually the company that caught on the fraud. The news article is in the wiki link you sent me. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin So basically, I could sell you bitcoins today and refuse to buy them back tomorrow, right? And there is nothing you could do to redeem them if nobody is willing to buy them back? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin You aren't trying to spend bitcoins because there isn't much to spend them on other than a bunch of illegal transactions... That's why millions of people out there like you are sitting on their bitcoins, and hoping to sell high... You don't see anything with this picture? | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin Not necessarily. The moment that any virtual currency becomes a threat serious enough to undermine the fiat currency system, the global banking cartel will take action... they will take legal action by portraying the bitcoin protocol as a den of thieves & criminals laundering money, and they will probably use their own fiat money created out of thin air to buy and devalue BTs, creating panic and a sell out. Then, they'll buy out the BTs and it is game over. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin So what you are saying is that you're an open target to anyone with the right technical know-how, the skill set and the backing of organized crime... and your bitcoins sitting safe in your HD could get stolen, about which you could do nothing. | 2 weeks ago
![]() | olympicFapper replied to thejoekenorer's comment on Bitcoin My question is simple: What will you do when you show your unique on the networks and your bitcoins do NOT show up? What would you do if your correctly entered "unique address" didn't work? | 2 weeks ago
