There are no line markings because the road was being prepared for repaving but this is a designated crosswalk. The woman driving the Volkswagen has admitted to being distracted because due to a conversation, not sure if she was on the phone... but if you ask me she was going far too fast. When you are walking you should do the same thing. Sure it was her crosswalk and she had the right to be there and the girl should have stopped for her.. BUT when you are playing against a 3000 lb piece of metal going who knows how fast, are you gonna bet your life they are going to do the right thing? NO FUCKING WAY. She not only bet her life but bet her child's life too and it sounds like they lost..

They were on bicycles and I wiped out a parked car because my brakes just weren't up to the task of bringing 6,000 lbs of truck from 55kms, (35miles) to a halt in 30ft. (Glad I was 5kms under the speed limit or I would have parked on his head). I am glad this isn't me in this video, and still wanna punch the man in the face. But now that I watched this video I feel a lot better about my repair bill. (Bicycles are uninsured here so the insured party pays and I don't have colision because I'm a good driver.)
