God, I hate shit like this. I moved from Sweden to South Africa when I was 6. These are not "zulu" women. Zulu women would be appauled if they saw others dress so freely. The zulu culture as it is known today is quite western, however, it does have roots firmly in traditon, but jesus, they dress like europeans, they have electricity, i GO TO UNIVERSITY WITH THEM, they speak english as well as zulu. even in kenya, its not like this. Some places, waaaay far out, maybe in the congo or botswana or something, in a few villages, will you find tribes that still look like this. they mostly dress up for special occasions and ceremonies these days. and its beautiful. sorry to kill the dream. africa is becoming westernized, just like everywhere. :/
